Jeffrey and Susan Brudnick Center for Living โ€“ operated by Chelsea Jewish Lifecare (CJL) and an affiliate of Legacy Lifecare โ€“ held a ribbon cutting last Thursday afternoon to honor Alan and Phyllis Bolotin and Marc and Beth Andler.

Both families donated $25,000 each to the Jeffrey and Susan Brudnick Center for Living: a highly-respected, skilled, nursing residence on the North Shore. These major donations kicked off CJL’s “Next Generation” capital campaign, which is a key initiative for the healthcare nonprofit.

“We are thrilled and extremely grateful to Phyllis and Alan Bolotin and Beth and Marc Andler for their enormously generous gifts,” said CJL CEO Barry Berman. “These donations will help the Susan and Jeffrey Budnick Center for Living continue to provide the highest caliber of care to our residents. The Bolotin and Andler families recognize the importance of helping seniors in our community.”

After refreshments and a speaking program, attendees visited the skilled nursing households where Berman cut ribbons and unveiled plaques in recognition of the two couples. Marc and Beth Andler’s plaque is engraved on the front door of the Gloucester House, and Alan and Phyllis Boloton’s plaque is engraved on the front door of the Ipswich House.

“Phyllis and I are so pleased to receive this plaque from Chelsea Jewish Lifecare,” Alan Bolotin said. “We have been involved with the organization for many years and see, firsthand, the exceptional care provided to the residents. We hope this donation raises awareness and funds for this deserving nonprofit.”

Marc Andler noted that CJL is a highly respected leader in healthcare.

“Beth and I are proud to support an organization that values excellence and truly cares about its residents and staff,” he said. “They lead by example.”

As long-time residents of the North Shore, the Bolotins and Andlers have been very involved with the local community and are well-known for their generosity, passion, and dedication.

“We feel truly fortunate to have them as friends and supporters,” Berman said.
