At the plate, Deleidi had two hits and two RBI.

Saugus’ Lily Ventre, who’s hitting close to .795 on the season, delivered once again. The senior leader went 4-for-4 with two solo home runs, three RBI, and two runs scored. Hannah Duong came up clutch, pinch hitting in the sixth inning and hitting a two-run double to seal the victory for Saugus.

Peabody’s Elizabeth Bettencourt hit a three-run home run in the fifth inning to give the Tanners a spark and 4-3 lead.
