North Shore Chamber to host Distinguished Leader Awards Nov. 21

BEVERLY — The North Shore Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Dinner Meeting and Distinguished Leader Awards on Thursday, Nov. 21, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Danversport, 161 Elliott St., Danvers.

The program will feature the installation of The Chamber’s Board of Directors and officers for 2025, highlight The Chamber’s achievements over the past year and set an overview of its advocacy work and priorities for the year ahead.

The evening will also celebrate the contributions of three Distinguished Leaders for their professional excellence and service to the community. This year’s Distinguished Leaders are:

  • Paul Kurker, Senior Vice President and Team Manager at Eastern Bank; member of The North Shore Chamber Board of Directors and Managing Board, serving as Treasurer.
  • Sara Stanley, Executive Director of HAWC (Healing Abuse Working for Change).
  • Tom Sands, President and CEO of Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals, Beth Israel Lahey Health; member of The Chamber’s Board of Directors and Managing Board.

The keynote speaker for this year’s annual Dinner will be Brian Kelly, President of the Kelly Automotive Group. The Kelly Automotive Group represents nine franchises in seven locations, and is a Top 125 Dealer Group in North America. Brian Kelly employs 400 people and over the past 59 years, the Kelly Family has become an integral part of many local communities on the North Shore. From his humble beginnings through present day, Brian’s entrepreneurial spirit and love of

people, cars, and his community have helped him build one of the most well-respected automotive groups and family businesses in the region.

The evening will open with a cocktail reception at 5 p.m. The program will begin at 6 p.m.
