Salem Five Bank announced on Feb. 5 that Nate Pusey has joined the organization as Senior Vice President and Middle Market Team Leader. The move further strengthens the bank’s Commercial Banking capabilities across New England. His appointment reflects Salem Five’s continued investment in scaling its Commercial Banking footprint and delivering customized financial solutions to middle market companies throughout the region.
In this role, Pusey will lead the Middle Market team serving commercial clients across New England, partnering with business owners and financial leaders to provide tailored credit, treasury management, and advisory solutions. “Nate is a proven leader with deep market knowledge and a strong record of building trusted client relationships,” said Kevin Rourke, Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Division Lead at Salem Five Bank. “His experience and leadership will be instrumental as we continue to expand our Commercial Banking offerings. It is an exciting time at the Bank as we’re now better poised to provide solutions for businesses of all industries and sizes as well as their private equity partners.”
Pusey brings more than 35 years of financial services experience, having held senior leadership roles throughout the Boston market. Most recently, he served as Managing Director and Northeast Market Executive for First Citizens Bank. Previously, he was Market Leader for Citibank’s New England market, overseeing strategic growth and client relationship development, and also held leadership roles at City National. Pusey earned his bachelor’s degree from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business and has been active in the business and arts communities, including past board service with Emerson College, The Boch Center, and the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce.
“Salem Five’s commitment to relationship-based banking and thoughtful growth is what attracted me to the organization,” said Pusey. “I’m excited to join a team focused on supporting middle market businesses with flexible, high-touch solutions.”
Salem Five’s continued investment in experienced talent reflects growing demand from middle market companies for relationship-driven banking partners that combine local decision-making with sophisticated commercial capabilities.
