Learn all about honey bees at the library

October 14, 2025 by For The Weekly News

The library is offering a program called Honey Bees 101 to learn about honey bees, where participants will also have the chance to make their own beeswax candle.

The event will be held at the South Branch Library on Thursday, Nov. 16, from 6-7:30 p.m.

Local beekeeper Nora Neale will bring live honey bees in an observation hive, and also real beekeeping equipment.

Neale will be there to answer all bee-related questions.

The program is for attendees ages 18+ and space is limited. Registration is required and can be done on the Peabody Library website.
