A report of a carbon monoxide alarm at 4:01 a.m. Services rendered. 

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 2:11 a.m. at Shaw’s Supermarket on Andover Street. Multiple callers reported a large gathering of vehicles making loud disturbances. Services rendered. 

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 8:29 a.m. on Lynfield Street at Whitney Drive. Investigated. 

Reports of motor vehicle stops at 1:30 a.m. on Sutton Street at Beckett Street, 2:16 a.m. at US Army Recruitment Center on Andover Street

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 12:43 a.m. on Keys Drive. Officer was checking on a car. Party was taking a nap before going in for the night. 

Monday. June 18

Arrest

Michael A. Gallella, 44, of Dalton Court, was arrested at 3:04 p.m. for a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. 

Alarm

A report of a burglar alarm at 7:28 a.m. at Gravoc Associates on Centennial Drive. Canceled by alarm company; a report at 5:28 p.m. at North Shore Plastic Surgery & Med Spa on First Avenue. Services rendered; a report at 5:48 p.m. Canceled by alarm company.

Animal Control

A report of animal control at 12:04 p.m. on Essex Center Drive. Caller reported a dog locked in a car. Officer reported the car was in the shade and the A/C was on. No action required; a report at 6:12 p.m. on Foster Street. Caller reported a loose chicken. No action required. 

Assist Citizen

A report of citizen assistance at 3:43 p.m. at PS Salon & Spa on Brooksby Village Drive. Taken/referred to other agency; a report at 4:50 p.m. on Tamarack Lane. Services rendered; a report at 5:11 p.m. at Century Tire Company Walnut Street. Caller reported damage to his property. Investigated; a report at 7:28 p.m. at St. Mary’s Cemetery on Margin Street. Investigated.

A report of a biohazard pickup/disposal at 9:50 a.m. at Lahey on Essex Center Drive. Taken/referred to other agency. 

Civil Matter/Complaint

A report of a civil matter/complaint at 1:42 p.m. on Moulton Road. Caller wanted to reported damage to a car that happened at a car wash. Advised civil action.

Fireworks Complaint

A report of a fireworks complaint at 7:42 p.m. at Raddin Park on Raddin Road. Caller reported 8-10 people setting off fireworks in the parking lot. Could not locate/GOA. 

Fraud

A report of fraud at 5 p.m. at the Police Department on Allens Lane. Services rendered. 

Lost/Found Property

A report of lost/found property at 4:21 p.m. at Alliance Health at Rosewood on Johnson Street. Investigated.

A report of an auto fire at 8:24 p.m. on Route 128 South. A purple and white bus was on fire. State police notified. 

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 9:20 a.m. on Berkshire Road. Calling party reported a hit and run. Investigated; a report at 11:53 a.m. on Allens Lane. Services rendered; a report at 12:45 p.m. at JRM Auto Sales on Newbury Street. No action required; a report at Granite Coast Brewing on Main Street. It was a minor accident. Investigated.

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 12:43 p.m. on St. Lo Drive. Two people were being suspicious in front of her house. Services rendered; a report at 1:32 p.m. at Temple Ner Tamid on Lowell Street. Caller reported a suspicious white vehicle parked in the shed for the last hour. Area check performed; a report at 7:11 p.m. on Munroe Street. Caller reported a past suspicious activity. Services rendered.   

Wires Down

A report of wires down at 11:54 a.m. on County Street. Caller reported that a truck took down and snapped several wires; a report at 10:23 p.m. on Andover Street at Buttonwood Lane. A wire was down. Services rendered.  

Sunday, June 20

Summons

Jose Roberto Martins Dos Santos, 23, received a summons at 1:21 a.m. for negligent operation of a motor vehicle, obstruction of an emergency vehicle, marked lanes violation, and speeding at a rate greater than what was reasonable and proper.

Stephen Amsden, 52, of Lynn Fells Parkway, received a summons at 12:56 p.m. for an uninsured motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration. 

Alarm

A report of a burglar alarm on First Avenue. Canceled by alarm company. 

Animal Control

A report of animal control at 10:24 a.m. on Munroe Street. Caller reported he felt unsafe with his black lab in the house. Taken/referred to other agency. 

Assault/A&B

A report of assault/A&B at 9:46 p.m. at East End Veterans Memorial Park on Walnut Street. Caller reported he was attacked by 4-5 people. Investigated. 

Assist Citizen

A report of citizen assistance at 12:30 a.m. on Forest Street. Caller reported being held against her will by ‘drug dealers’ at a nursing facility. Nursing staff called back, confirmed the female is in good health; a report at 2:09 a.m. at the Police Department on Allens Lane. Services rendered; a report at 5:39 p.m. at 7-Eleven on Lynn Street. Caller was looking for assistance with an ongoing issue with his girlfriend. Services rendered.

A report of a disturbance at 2:17 p.m. on Walnut Street. It was a mom-and-son argument. Investigated; a report at 7:22 p.m. at Walgreens on Main Street. Services rendered.

A report of a disturbance/party/music at 6:13 a.m. on Winona Street. Caller reported that their neighbor was using a leaf blower and making excessive noise. Services rendered; a report at 6:51 p.m. on Central Street. Loud music on Central Street. Peace restored.
