Emergency first responders were called to a serious fall involving a man who plummeted approximately 30 feet from a ladder.
The incident occurred on Helen Drive in Peabody early Wednesday afternoon. According to emergency officials, the victim — a male believed to be between the ages of 40 and 50 years old — sustained serious injuries in the fall.
First responders arrived on the scene and quickly called for MedFlight assistance due to the severity of the situation. The man was airlifted to Boston Medical Center for treatment and his current condition is not yet known.
Authorities have not disclosed the circumstances leading up to the fall, and the incident remains under investigation.
