We are excited to share that Big Y has selected Peabody Recreation to benefit from the Community Bag Program throughout June 2025. The Big Y Community Bag Program makes it easy for shoppers to contribute to their local communities.
Every time a $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at the Big Y located at 637 Lowell St. in Peabody, in June 2025, $1 will be donated to Peabody Recreation. This is a great way to broaden awareness of our mission and help our cause.
As of right now, the Community Bag Program has sold 499,196 bags and $499,196 in donations since the first bag was sold on Jan. 11, 2019.
