At a recent School Committee meeting, Committee member Joseph Amico urged community members to attend the Peabody Veterans Memorial High School Performing Arts Department all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast on Saturday, Jan. 31 from 8-11 a.m. at Knights of Columbus lower hall at 96 Main St.
“It’s $15/person. Bring a $20, and just throw it in there. They have raffles. It’s a great, great event. It’s the who’s who of Main Street. Everyone shows up, so come down. It’s great, and it’s for an awesome, awesome cause. Those kids are great, so I figured I’d throw that out there,” Amico said.
Committee member Beverley Griffin Dunne added, “In addition to a delicious breakfast and having a lot of fun and seeing your friends and neighbors and everybody, you also get treated to impromptu concerts by the students when they decide to break out in song, and it’s really a lot of fun.”
