Fire at the Farm at Tillie's Farm Stand. (Sheldon Jacobsohn)

Youth clubs host Christmas tree pick-up fundraisers

December 22, 2025 by Amanda Lurey

Two youth organizations, Girl Scout Troop 76125 and Peabody Veterans Memorial High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corp, are hosting Christmas tree pick-up fundraisers for Tillie’s Farm Stand’s Fire at the Farm, an event on Jan. 3, 2026 where Christmas trees will be burned in a large bonfire.

Both organizations are asking for $10 donations, which are good for one Christmas tree pick-up during the week of Dec. 29. The Peabody Veterans Memorial High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps’s proceeds will stay within its organization, funding future endeavors. For the Girl Scouts, all donations will go toward the Troop’s upcoming Europe trip, where they will learn more about various countries, cultures, and people.
