Ward 2 Councilor-elect to host Community Open House

December 9, 2025 by For The Weekly News

Ward 2 Councilor-elect Wendy Lattof will host a Community Open House on Friday, Dec. 20 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Create & Escape, located at 71 Main St. All Ward 2 residents are invited to drop in, enjoy complimentary hot chocolate, cookies, coffee, and donuts, and share the issues and ideas that matter most to them ahead of the new council term beginning in January 2026.

The event is informal, family friendly, and open to all residents. Attendees are welcome to stop by at any time during the two-hour window.

“As I begin preparing for January, it’s incredibly important to me that I hear directly from Ward 2 neighbors,” Lattof said. “This open house is an opportunity to connect, listen, and start conversations about safety, traffic, affordable housing, the future use of the Rousselot property, downtown revitalization, neighborhood concerns, and anything residents want to discuss.”

Spanish, Portuguese, and American Sign Language interpreters will be available for residents who may need language support. Additional accommodations for language interpreters can be arranged upon request by emailing WendyLattof@gmail.com.
