Peabody students shine at Bishop Fenwick

December 9, 2025 by For The Weekly News

Junior Elias Rodriguez, Sophomore Emily Legault, and Freshman Teddy Fleming have all been recently recognized by Bishop Fenwick High School for the school’s Fenwick First Awards for their contributions to the school community. Fenwick First is an award recognizing those in the Fenwick community who go “above and beyond.”

The following excerpt is part of their nominations:

“Elias’ commitment to improving academically shows both discipline and maturity. A respected voice among classmates, he leads through service and example in the classroom, on the soccer field, in campus ministry, and within Fenwick’s Hispanic community. His work ethic, positive attitude, and drive for excellence elevate those around him, and his emerging leadership is already making a meaningful impact. He previously attended Great Rock Christian Academy.

“Emily is a true light in our community; she lives Fenwick FIRST in every way. She makes it her mission to brighten the day of others — offering a warm greeting to every faculty and staff member she passes. Emily approaches learning with energy and focus, proactively seeking help when needed, and always striving to grow. A dedicated member of the band, she not only participates fully but also helps welcome and mentor’s new musicians. She previous attended Higgins Middle School.

“Teddy exemplifies Fenwick FIRST through his authenticity, kindness, and deep commitment to his faith. He participates in a wide and diverse range of clubs and activities — from theatre and band to wrestling and mock trial. Teddy brings enthusiasm and strong effort to a rigorous course load and engages fully in every class. Known as one of the genuinely nicest students in our community, he builds meaningful relationships across all grades and shares his many talents with humility and joy. He previously attended Dennis-Yarmouth Middle School.”
