A third-party reported that four individuals wearing hoodies with their hoods up were gathered in the parking lot and appeared to have taken stuff from the rear building. A report of citizen assistance at 4:30 a.m. on Littles Lane. Caller thought her apartment was flooding from a water heater. Services rendered.

A report of a disturbance at 1:34 p.m. at Citizen’s Inn on Washington Street. Two residents were in a verbal dispute. Investigated.

A report of a disturbance/party/music at 4:08 a.m. on Andover Street. Caller reported a loud noise in the unit above his. Peace restored; a report at 6:58 a.m. on Crowninshield Street. Services rendered; a report at 10:04 p.m. on Warren Street. Lower-floor neighbors reported that the upstairs neighbor was stomping and talking loudly. Peace restored. 

Gas Odor/Problem

A report of a gas odor/problem at 12:31 p.m. on Hog Hill Road. There was a strong odor of gas. Taken/referred to other agency.

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 11:23 a.m. at Dunkin’ on Newbury Street. It was a minor accident with arguments heard in the background. Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 1:02 a.m. at The Bell Inn on Washington Street. Caller believed she found a bag of 94C in the parking lot while walking her dog. Investigated; a report at 5:51 a.m. at Hertz Car Rental on Andover Street. Caller believed he was being followed for the last hour. Services rendered.  

Wednesday, Nov. 26

Arrest

Sara J. Hopkins, 28, of Newbury Street, was arrested at 1:22 p.m. for charges of assult and battery on family/household member, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and two counts of malicious destruction of property worth under $1,200. 

Amado R. Roman, 57, of Collins Street, was arrested at 10:26 p.m. for assault and battery. 

Animal Control

A report of animal control at 11:04 a.m. on Franklin Street. Notification made. 

Citizen Assistance

 A report of Citizen assistance at 9:37 a.m. on Granite Street. A landlord stated that a tenant stole a camera. Investigated; a report at 11:32 a.m. at the Police Department on Allens Lane. A walk-in reported a dog bite. Services rendered. 

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 6:33 p.m. on Foster Street. Caller reported he was being held against his will. Investigated. 

DPW Callout 

A report of a DPW callout at 12:14 a.m. on Glen Drive. Caller reported sand bubbling from the ground by his driveway and was concerned it may be a broken water main. Taken/referred to other agency.

Could not locate/GOA; a report at 7:16 p.m. on Pearl Street. Caller reported a male party wearing a ski mask banged and knocked on his neighbor’s door, then left on a scooter. Monday, Nov. 24

Arrest

Herma Santiago Jr., 43, of Lash Street, Chelsea, was arrested at 1:03 a.m. for charges of three department warrants and being a fugitive from justice on a court warrant.

Adelcio Martins Ferreira, 30, of Stevens Street, was arrested at 6:43 a.m. for charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a number plate violation to conceal identity, an uninsured motor vehicle, an unregistered motor vehicle, and no inspection/sticker.

A report of a burglar alarm at 6:32 p.m. on Centennial Drive. Canceled by alarm company. 

A report of a fire alarm at 3:39 p.m. on Mill Street. Taken/referred to other agency.

A report of animal control (dog complaint) at 10:57 a.m. on Willowbrae Drive. Caller left a voicemail complaining that his neighbor’s dog was loose again and defecated in his yard. Citation issued.
