The City of Peabody will observe the 24th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attack on America with a memorial ceremony at 9:30 a.m. today, Thursday, Sept. 11 at the Public Safety Memorial on Perkins Street.
Additionally, in recognition of the 24th anniversary of 9/11, members of the Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School’s grounds team, together with students and staff from the history department, placed 3,000 American flags around the Essex Tech campus.
