Senate Assistant Majority Leader Joan B. Lovely (D-Salem) is joining other members of the North Shore delegation by inviting constituents to the North of Boston Health and Wellness Expo on Sept. 27 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School.
“We invite all to attend to join us for a health care expo day of resources, support and inspiration for all ages and all needs — including families, veterans, older adults, individuals with disabilities, caregivers and more,” Sen. Lovely said. “Thank you to Rep. Sally Kerans, Rep. Tom Walsh, Rep. Manny Cruz, Rep. Hannah Bowen and Senate Minority Leader Bruce Tarr for collaborating on this important event.”
The expo will include more than 70 local health and wellness professionals, local service providers, informative presentations and interactive demos and resources, including:
- Free health and wellness screenings
- Mental health and disability resources
- Family and parenting support
- Fitness, nutrition and mindfulness
- Veterans’ services & aging support
- Presentations and live demonstrations
- Giveaways, raffles and free swag
