Peabody track coach Fernando Braz received two awards this summer. He was named Division 2 Boys Coach of the Year by the Massachusetts State Track Coaches Association after being nominated in the spring and voted on by his peers. He also earned the 2025 Boys’ High School Track and Field Coach of the Year for Massachusetts from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, a program sponsored by the U.S. Marine Corps that recognizes the top high school cross country and track coaches at the state and national levels.
