Peabody’s Heather MacLean, an Olympic track and field athlete, joined a Youth Enrichment Services practice at Moakley Park in Boston. She taught technique, ran laps, conducted warm-ups, assisted with the long jump, and more. MacLean (Peabody High Class of 2013) also shared valuable lessons learned throughout her career. “Sometimes, you learn more from losing a race than you do from winning a race,” she said.
