This summer, the Peabody Education Foundation (PEF) is hosting its “Family Fest” fundraiser at Emerson Park this Saturday, Aug. 9 from 1-4 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, Aug. 10.
Admission is $10 per person, with all proceeds benefitting the PEF and its mission to enrich Peabody’s public schools.
Bring the whole family and enjoy lawn games, a giant inflatable obstacle course and more! Delicious food will be available for purchase, and adults can unwind in the beer and wine tent.
According to Mary Bellavance, “The PEF was founded in 1985 by a group of community members, business leaders, and educators seeking to enhance the quality of Peabody Public Education.”
She continued, “We provide unique programs and advanced technology to thousands of students who might otherwise not enjoy such experiences due to budget constraints. Our programs are intended to benefit and guide children as they develop into successful citizens and leaders.”
