Division 2 girls basketball action saw top-ranked Medfield take down No. 17 Bishop Fenwick, 55-37, Wednesday (March 5) night. The Lady Crusaders look back on a 10-12 season that included a tournament win against Wakefield Memorial last week.
Leading the way were junior captains Caitlin Boyle (20 points, 10 rebounds, 4 blocks) and Celia Neilson (6 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists), a dynamic duo from start to finish this winter.
Fenwick Coach Adam DeBaggis singled out his seniors – Caroline Perry, Kiley Bloom, and Sienna Mancinelli – for their work ethic.
“All three gave everything they had in every practice and game,” DeBaggis said. “Tough kids and great human beings.”
