The Bishop Fenwick girls swimming and diving team finished 10th Saturday in the MIAA Division 2 state championship meet at Boston University. The Crusaders tallied 86 points, well behind Concord-Carlisle, which lapped the field with 270 points.
Caroline Blatchford and Amelia Gallant were the top individual performers. Blatchford placed third in the 200 individual medley, besting her personal record by more than nine seconds (2:16.22). She also placed fifth in the 100 free (55.16). Gallant placed third in the 500 free (5:15.83) and fifth in the 200 freestyle (PR 1:57.42).
Sarah Shann finished seventh in 1-meter diving with 364.10 points. Hannah Ryan finished 10th in the 100 freestyle (56.55) and 14th in the 50 free (PR 25.94).
The team of Blatchford, Ryan, Gallant, and Courtney McKenzie finished 15th in the 200 medley relay (PR 2:03.65) and the team of Ryan, Riley Morin, Blatchford, and Gallant finished 25th in the 200 free relay.
Peabody High’s Maddy Murray placed 11th in 1-meter diving.
