The Peabody Library will be holding its first ever Pet Video Festival screening on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 1 p.m. in the Main Library Tech Lab. The festival will include videos submitted by library patrons and staff (plus a few fun surprises), and winners will be determined by an audience vote. Winners will receive pet-related prizes.
Submissions for the Pet Video Festival are now open until Monday, January 27, 2025. Interested pet owners can submit their videos by filling out this form, which is also linked on our social media, on our website, and in our weekly newsletter. Audience members can sign up on our calendar to attend the screening.
The rules:
Videos must be submitted via link to YouTube or file upload using this form – https://forms.gle/zQCUujGMJGP3upiM6. Please call the library at 978-531-0100 x17 or email gtoth@noblenet.org if you need help uploading your video.
1 entry per family.
Videos must star YOUR pet. Family members in the background are fine but the pet must be the star!
This is a family-friendly event, videos should not contain profanity or adult content.
Videos that are submitted to the festival will be stored on library-owned google drives or youtube accounts and shown to the community at the screening. Please do not include any personal information in the videos. They will be deleted once the festival is complete.
Videos will be shown exactly as you submit them, so please make any edits for privacy, language, etc., before submitting them.
Videos cannot exceed 2 minutes in length.
Staff may enter the festival but are not eligible for prizes.
