Mohamed O. Mukhtar, 24, of Nichols Street, Salem, will be summoned for larceny under $1,200 at 3:34 p.m. at Nordstrom on Andover Street.
Animal Control
A report of a dog being walked off leash at 11:13 a.m. on Lynn Street. The complaining party emailed a video of the dog off leash to PD. The dog is vaccinated for rabies but this is an ongoing issue. Owners were given a notice about the issue and were sent the video for review upon request.

A report of a husky that is being mistreated and neglected at 10:29 a.m. on Veterans Memorial Drive. The reporting party is from an animal rescue that is willing to take in the dog. Officer called the owner who said he was willing to surrender the dog to the rescue.

A report of a neighbor constantly banging and not letting the reporting party sleep at 12:15 a.m. on Cowinsheild Street. Officer knocked on both doors and got no response.

A report of smoke coming from a nearby bush at 7:23 a.m. on Lowell Street. Officer reports nothing showing; A report of a brush fire at 8:01 a.m. on Martinack Avenue. Fire department notified.
