The YMCA of Metro North is excited to announce that the TJX Foundation has awarded it a grant of $12,500 to support its programs that empower youth to learn and grow in its Y Academy Early Learning and Out-of-School Time programs. This funding will bolster the YMCA’s efforts to provide essential resources, mentorship, and educational opportunities to help these young people thrive.
The TJX Foundation’s Community Mission aligns closely with the YMCA’s goal of fostering healthy, safe environments for youth development. TJX Foundation’s mission is to provide value to communities by helping vulnerable families and children access the resources and opportunities they need to build a bright future.
“We are immensely grateful for the TJX Foundation’s support,” said Kathleen Walsh, President and CEO of the YMCA of Metro North. “Their investment will allow us to expand our reach to serve more children in our programs and provide them with an enriching and supportive educational experience.”
With this grant, the Y Academy will enhance its youth programs, offering a safe and supportive environment for them to learn, grow, and succeed. The YMCA of Metro North looks forward to a continued partnership with the TJX Foundation to make a lasting difference in the lives of youth and their families.
