The Bishop Fenwick golf team honored long-time coach Jim McHugh (Class of ‘67) last week. McHugh was the athletic director at Fenwick for more than two decades. Current coach Alan DeLorenzo expressed gratitude for McHugh’s leadership, character, and example, noting the number of golfers this year is a powerful testimony to McHugh’s passion for the sport. Captain Johnny Romans thanked McHugh for teaching players on and off the course, imparting both swing techniques and life lessons. McHugh graciously presented American flags to this year’s captains. Gift cards and school swag were also present. (Alan DeLorenzo)
