A first-half strike from Kacper Kowalczyk proved to be the difference in Peabody’s 1-0 win over Haverhill in boys soccer action. Head coach Stan McKeen praised his team’s defense.
“We played their best defensive game of the season,” McKeen said.
Luke Murray, Marshall Simpson, Fabio Goulart, and Derek Collins were “outstanding,” according to McKeen. Dylan Flanagan also played well between the pipes.

Peabody coach Stan McKeen said his team was “unable to generate much offense,” but credited Jason Decost, Kacper Kowalczyk, and Osama Mishal for strong showings.
