Do you want to create your own videos based on your story ideas? In this video-production club, participants will learn foundational skills in the realm of video production over the course of 12 weeks or a weeklong summer program. Club members will be able to experience each role of production — from sitting in the director’s chair, to operating state-of-the-art switchers, to framing the shots as the camera operator, to being the star! They’ll even make some green-screen magic occur! Both returning and new participants will have fun learning the art of video production while returning participants will get right into creating while learning advanced techniques of video production, including a special focus on external audio equipment, and new participants will learn how to write scripts, capture great shots with professional equipment, and edit the final product.
