The Peabody Youth Hockey squirt spring team has won the Valley Spring League Championship, defeating the Mad Dogs, 4-2, in Sunday's finale at Hockeytown in Saugus. Peabody opened the tournament with an 8-3 win against the Jr. Patriots Friday night, then followed with a 3-2 victory over the Boston Jr. Ice Dogs Saturday morning to punch its ticket to the championship game.
