The Peabody Library’s Main Branch will be serving free lunches in the courtyard for children and teens throughout the summer from Monday, July 8 until Aug. 21. Lunch will be served Mondays and Wednesdays only, from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. On Mondays there will be crafts and supplies for people to create with, and Wednesdays will be Water Play Wednesdays for children to play outside with water toys, weather depending. If the weather is too hot or it is raining, this event will be held inside the Teen Room with notice.
There is no registration required for these events. Lunches are for children and teens ages 0 to 18. This program is brought to you by Peabody Public Schools, Citizens Inn, Project Bread, Child Nutrition Outreach Program, and Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
