The PEF is seeking nominations for 12th Annual George Peabody Legacy Award

May 21, 2024 by Richelle Melad

The Peabody Education Foundation is pleased to announce we are currently seeking nominations of worthy candidates for our 12th Annual George Peabody Legacy Award (GPLA) Awards.  Applications can be found on the Peabody Education Foundation website by visiting https://peabodyedfoundation.org/george-peabody-legacy-awards/.

The George Peabody Legacy Award is presented by the Peabody Education Foundation to recognize and honor the educators and philanthropists from within the community who work to provide a lifetime of contributions to our educational system.  It is an honor to recognize educators who have gone above and beyond to make a lasting difference in the lives of their students.  In the classroom they are both learners and facilitators of learning.  They attend to the social and emotional needs of their students making a lasting, positive impact by providing a progressive learning atmosphere meeting the needs of every individual child.

Teachers and community members are providing an education that goes beyond just academics. Teachers are always seeking to effortlessly challenge students to be the best they can be and encourage them to act upon their dreams and goals. Help us honor these extraordinary individuals by nominating them for the George Peabody Legacy Awards.

To nominate an individual, please fill out the online application by August 2, 2024.  Please remember to include your name, address, and telephone number on all nominations in order that we may verify information or request a testimonial and/or pictures.

For additional information, please contact David Gravel, President and Chairman of the Peabody Education Foundation, at 978-538-9055 x114
