Peabody Police Log May 14 to May 19

Tuesday, May 14

Arrests

Zen Michael Garcia, 21, was arrested at 4:03 p.m. Tuesday at Lowell Street at Priscilla Lane for a warrant with another department.

Summons

Julie Marie Romans, 43, will be summonsed for operating a motor vehicle after suspension of license. 

Disturbance

A report of a male who tried to grab a girl from in front of her house at 5:13 p.m. Tuesday at Lisburn Street. Suspect was unable to be located. Officer will attempt to contact the female party. 

Fight in Progress

Caller reported multiple juveniles fighting at 3:18 p.m. Tuesday at Lowell Street.

Wednesday, May 15

Arrest

Thomas Harold McGhie, 76, of Lynnfield was arrested at 10:35 p.m. Wednesday at Endicott Street and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, the negligent operation of a motor vehicle, a marked lanes violation, and leaving the scene of property damage. 

Summons

Rachel Lynn Stansfield, 54, will be summonsed for shoplifting $250+ by concealing merchandise.

Assist Citizen

Caller reported that two people are bothering him by the tennis court at 12:42 p.m. Wednesday at Home Street. 

Thursday, May 16

Arrests

Frander Deleon, 25, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, attaching plates, having an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle, and a number plate violation at 9:14 a.m. Thursday at Andover Street at Buttonwood Lane.

Collin Stephen Welch, 21, of Laconia, New Hampshire was arrested at 11:14 p.m. Thursday at Bow Street and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor. 

Assist Citizen

Caller reported that at approximately 3 p.m. Thursday at Nancy Avenue, someone broke into her home. After further investigation, it was a couple of eight-year-olds that caused the damage to the window. 

Disturbance

A report of youths throwing mud balls at vehicles at 6:34 p.m. Thursday at Northend Street.

Friday, May 17

Arrests

Gabriel Githiabii Gitonga, 21, was arrested at 1:06 p.m. Friday for another department warrant.
Zachary Clemente Hill, 26, was arrested at 8:24 a.m. Friday at Tracey Street for probation violation.

Summons

Jonathan Zacarias, 22, of Lynn will be summonsed for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and lights violation.

Animal Control – Dog Complaint

A report of several puppies at 11:04 a.m. Friday at Lynn Street. Dogs were alleged to be inbreeding and producing more litters. MSPCA was called. 

Fraud

A report of party buying a phone in a private sale and the phone is fake at 3:36 p.m. Friday at 637 Lowell St. 

Suspicious Activity

Party reported that threatening notes were left on trees on the path at 3:07 p.m. Friday at Spring Pond Trail.

Vandalism

A report on vandalism on someone’s car at 8:40 p.m. Friday at Washington Street.

Saturday, May 18

Disturbance

Caller reported that a person is outside bothering customers at 12:26 a.m. Saturday at Newbury Street.

Sunday, May 19

Arrests

Linda Yeraldin Villa Higuita, 24, of Revere was arrested at 3:23 p.m. Sunday at Andover Street for shoplifting by concealing merchandise and resisting arrest. 

Caller reported that they encountered a male that had road rage and appeared to be intoxicated. Adam Mogan, 30, of Wakefield was arrested at 8:13 p.m. Sunday at Foster Street for operating under the influence of liquor.
