Peabody Police Log 2/21 to 2/22

Wednesday, Feb. 21

Animals

Caller at 13 Moulton Road reported that the same party from Anderson Street, is complaining that the dogs from Moulton Road are still barking at 4 a.m. Caller was advised to have the complaining party call the PPD, when the incident is occurring. Dog owner was mailed a warning in January to the dog owner, after he called the first time. Left voicemail for dog owner, requesting a callback.

Arrest

Eduardo Portugal Boy, 41, of Jacobs Street, was arrested at 9:12 p.m. at 89 Main St. for operating a motor vehicle while unlicensed, unregistered, and uninsured. 

Disturbance

Caller reported female crying and two males approaching her at 12:34 p.m. at Andover St. Caller believes female was pushed into a beige colored Jeep. Officer spoke to reporting party and stated that male left in a beige Jeep and left the area.

Hit and Run

Caller reported that a white Honda struck a truck and is now at a liquor store at 11:44 a.m. at 242 Lynn St. Officer stated that the vehicle was towed.

Motor Vehicle Accident

Motor vehicle accident at 12:14 p.m. at 181 Winona St.

Summons

Levi Desouza Rocha, of Montvale Avenue, Woburn, will be summonsed for unlicensed operation of motor vehicle and speeding.

Traffic Hazard Citation

Traffic hazard citation issued for breakdown lane violation at 9:21 a.m. at 247 Newbury St.

Thursday, Feb. 22

Animal

Loose dog reported at 3:26 p.m. at 25 Raymond Circle Officer secured the pooch.

Arrest

Jeffrey Knikker, of Broad Street, Lynn, was taken into custody at 9:16 p.m. at 30 Chestnut St. on a warrant and for operating while license is suspended.

Fraud

Reporting party reported receiving a debit card she did not apply for at 6:46 a.m. at Allens Lane.

Motor Vehicle Accidents

There was a motor vehicle accident involving two cars at 9:08 a.m. at 4 Centennial Drive.

There was a motor vehicle accident at 2:13 p.m. at 210L Andover St.

Neighborhood Dispute

Caller reported a past neighbor dispute involving their downstairs neighbor at 9:41 a.m. at Silverleaf Way. Caller reported that an older man is harassing her daughter. 

Suspicious Activity

Suspicious activity reported at 10:52 a.m. at Holiday Inn Peabody.

Suspicious activity reported at 12:59 p.m. at Northshore Rd. underpass. Reports of two juveniles who dumped a scooter in the woods. 

Caller reported two males driving in a silver Camaro asking to come inside residence to take a sample of their water at 6:31 p.m. at Moulton Rd.
